Lintels Between 2000mm - 3000mm Long

As spans increase, the structural stiffness of the steel becomes even more critical. Our 2000mm to 3000mm collection features heavier-gauge angles, T-Bars, and concrete lintels designed to support larger spans without bowing or sagging. At Vincent Buda and Company, we specialise in providing the rigid, Hot-Dip Galvanised (R3) steel required for wide sliding doors, double windows, and large architectural openings, alongside high-strength concrete lintels suited to render-finished masonry construction.

These lengths are common in modern open-plan designs where natural light is prioritised. Our steel is manufactured to exceed Australian masonry standards, ensuring your large glazing stays protected from the masonry load above. Concrete lintels provide a durable alternative where corrosion resistance or solid-profile support is preferred. Since 1957, we have supported builders tackling these high-load residential spans. Every lintel in this range is available for same-day or next day delivery within Sydney Metro.

    Four Primary Applications for 2000mm - 3000mm:

Large Living Room Windows: Supporting wide architectural glass spans up to 2.7m.
French & Double Doors: Providing a structural support for wide entry and patio transitions.
Small Single Garages: Using heavy angles, T-Bars, or concrete lintels for narrow vehicle entries.
Wide Internal Arches: Supporting masonry over large room-to-room transitions.

Why choose our 2m to 3m lintels?

Structural Stiffness: Heavier steel profiles and high-strength concrete options engineered to prevent sagging over larger spans.
Rust Resistant: R3 galvanised steel to protect your luxury facade from "brick growth."
Architectural Finish: Straight, high-quality steel or solid concrete profiles that ensure a level brick line.
Fast Delivery: We ship orders out the same day or next day within the Sydney Metro to keep your job moving.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, usually a thicker or larger profile. As the span increases, the member must be stiffer to carry the load without deflection. Your engineer's plans will specify the exact size required, whether steel or concrete.
It depends. T-Bars are naturally stronger and often preferred for larger spans. However, on external walls with a habitable space inside, maintaining a cavity may be necessary to prevent water ingress — in which case separate Angle Bars may be more suitable. If unsure, contact your structural engineer to confirm which profile is suitable.
They are substantial and usually require two people to lift. While still manageable by hand, we recommend following proper manual handling safety on-site when positioning these steel or concrete lintels.
We offer same-day or next-day delivery within the Sydney Metro. Vincent Buda and Company keeps extensive stock of these sizes to ensure your large window openings are never the cause of a delay.
